Abstract:
This article conducts a systematic study on the concept of lifelong education, based on the development needs of education in the new era, sorting out the theoretical origins of the concept of lifelong education, tracing its ideological origins and development context, and clarifying its theoretical core connotation. On this basis, combined with the current social development, industrial upgrading, and individual growth needs, the value of lifelong education concept in empowering individuals to develop comprehensively, promoting social progress, and adapting to the development of the times is analyzed. Subsequently, an objective analysis was conducted on the current status of theoretical research on the concept of lifelong education, pointing out the controversial focus and shortcomings in the research, and clarifying the direction for subsequent research. Finally, in response to the challenges of theoretical implementation, we will construct a scientifically feasible and practical lifelong education practice path from multiple dimensions such as institutional construction, resource integration, digital transformation, and group adaptation. This will help transform the concept of lifelong education into concrete practice, promote the construction of a learning society, and provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the development of lifelong education in the new era.
